Crudest War
Inspired by the art created especially by the soldiers of the Second World War, this small capsule tries to transfer us to a time that, although it was one of the crudest, allowed those who were part of that hell to develop their artistic skills in order to escape from the field of battle and express their emotions in everyday objects such as naval bags, soldier helmets and even airplanes, as in the case of “nose art”. The garments have characteristics that emulate the aesthetics of those times, thick cotton boxy t-shirts, sweatshirts with pockets and heavyweight pants. It has been possible to achieve both the appropriate texture and wear that fit with the desired aesthetics thanks to different washing, dyeing and screen printing processes that are carefully detailed. The historical and graphic research for references and images, the work dedicated to each piece, and the special packaging that this capsule includes is unique.
